7. OCEANIA – To be announced – Following the passing of Prof. Charles E. M. Pearce of the University of Adelaide, Australia, in 2011, the BIOMAT Consortium is left without a representative from Oceania on its Board of Directors. Prof. Pearce was an exemplary scientist in his many contributions to the interdisciplinary mathematical and biological sciences. A tribute to him was published in the opening pages of the book BIOMAT 2011, published by World Scientific Co. Pte. Ltd. On behalf of the BIOMAT Consortium, we would be grateful if a fellow scientist could be nominated in the current year 2026 as the Representative from Oceania on the Board of Directors.
